New concept a success
ICCX Central Europe 2016
The first ICCX Central Europe, which took place from 11 - 12 February in Ossa, Poland, can be said to have made a good start with more than 500 participants. Among them were numerous decision-makers from neighbouring countries. With numerous participants from Slovakia, the Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland and the Czech Republic, the concept of the first ICCX Central Europe was a success, having developed from a purely Polish event (ZBI Kongress) in the previous two years into an international trade event for the Central European region.
The venue was the Hotel Ossa Congress & Spa, approx. one hour by car from Warsaw. The organisers of the ICCX, the team from CPI worldwide, set up a shuttle service for the uncomplicated transfer of the guests who had travelled by air.
After having hosted the ZBI Kongress twice, in 2014 and 2015, the Hotel Ossa Congress & Spa once again proved to be a suitable venue for a trade conference of this kind. This event, named after the Polish edition of CPI and similarly organised by CPI worldwide, had previously focused on the Polish market until the decision was made to expand the conference to Poland's neighbouring countries. That marked the birth of the ICCX Central Europe.
The two-day ICCX Central Europe 2016 was officially opened on 11 February 2016. The participants were offered a typical ICCX mix of trade conference with international speakers and a trade exhibition tailored precisely to the industry. The ICCX was rounded off by an entirely successful evening event in the Restaurant Starowka in the Conference Hotel Ossa Congress & Spa.
